From January 2005, there have been major changes in the Dangerous
Goods Training regulations including:
- 91 UN Numbers reflecting
changes ito the List of Dangerous
Goods,
- security measures,
- sequencing of information,
- documentation,
- marking & labelling
- and many
other items.

Certification
Course (1 Day)
This course is approved by the Civil
Aviation Authority and is designed for
those personnel employed as Helicopter
Landing Officers, Helideck Assistants
and Radio Operators who require to have
contact with aircraft via aeronautical
radio.
Delegates are required to sit an examination
set by the UK Civil Aviation Authority
and a minimum pass mark of 70% is required
to be obtained. Course content:

Communications Technique.
•
The Phonetic Alphabet.
•
Aircraft Callsigns.
•
Offshore Aeronautical Services
•
Aeronautical Radio Stations.
•
Air/Ground Communications.
•
Helicopter Operations.
•
Aircraft Operating Agencies.
•
Distress and Urgency Procedures.
•
Written exercises.
•
Practical exercises using a radio station
simulator.
This course is delivered over one day
and includes practical simulated scenarios.
