From January 2005, there have been major changes in the Dangerous
Goods Training regulations including:
- 91 UN Numbers reflecting
changes ito the List of Dangerous
Goods,
- security measures,
- sequencing of information,

- marking & labelling

other items.

Carriage of Dangerous Goods By Air
Awarness
Level
Certification
Course (1 Day)
This
is a one day course designed for personnel who
are involved in the shipping, receiving or procurement
departments including managers and supervisors,
who would benefit knowing the basic information
into the Transportation of Dangerous
Goods by Air, which complies with the requirements
of the International Civil Aviation Organisation's
(ICAO) Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport
of Dangerous
Goods by Air.
All categories of personnel involved
in the movement of Dangerous
Goods by Air are required by Law to receive
general familiarzation, function specific or
safety training.
Course content:
• Using the Regulations.
• Limitations.
• Classification and Identification of
Dangerous
Goods .
• Packing requirements for Dangerous
Goods .
• Packing Specifications and Performance tests.
• Marking and Labelling of Dangerous
Good consignments.
• Documentation (including The Shippers Declaration
and other documentation)
• Handling of Dangerous
Goods .
• Emergency Procedures.
• The Security aspects of Dangerous
Goods .
Initial
training is conducted over a one and period.
Dates are available on request or can be arranged
to suit client requirements.
